Q. How do I know which clamping blocks I need/use?
A. If you have our tool already, try holding the blocks to your slide and use the blocks that fit you slide profile best. You can also refer to our block application section listed below each tool. If you do not have our too you can refer to our block application section listed below each tool.
Q. What is the best way to protect my slide from scratching/marring?
A. Wrapping Chamois leather around the slide works very well; tape or cardboard can be used in a pinch but can marr the finish if not careful. Also doubling up a cleaning patch can work (two layers).
Q. How do I protect my sight from scratching/marring?
A. Typically marring or scratching will occur when the pusher blade is against the sight and the slide has moved up or down in the tool (seesawing), usually caused by “bumping” the slide while the bolt is being turned. Using the vise method as mentioned in our video can help to ensure the slide does not get bumped while using the tool. As a safeguard a small piece of chamois leather or cleaning patch can be used for insulation between the pusher blade and sight.
Q. What is the pusher blade travel per bolt rotation? Can I do fine adjustments?
A. The pusher blade will move the sights .078″ per revolution (full rotation). So turning the bolt 1/6 turn (one flat spot on bolt) will move the sight .013″. Turning the bolt in small increments is not difficult when using a 3/4″ wrench. Note: An average business card is .009″ thick.
Q. I have heard the sights for my gun are very difficult to remove, any suggestions?
A. Often freezing the slide by putting the slide in a ziploc bag and placing in your freezer for 8-10 hours will help on tough sights.
Q. How long does shipping take?
A. We usually ship within 2 business days (M-F) via USPS priority mail. Please keep in mind Holidays can affect shipping times.

A. Yes we do. Shipping is $30.00 outside the US via USPS International Priority mail.
Q. I have your standard too and would like to buy the optional blocks, is that possible?
A. We do offer the block sets for our standard tool. Visit our optional blocks section on our website.
Q. What is the warranty on your tools?
A. If you have a problem with our product, please contact us by email. We are more than happy to work with you.
Q. I bought your tool from one of your dealers on Amazon or one of their websites, what is the warranty and how is the warranty handled?
A. We ask that you provide us with a copy of the receipt. After doing so we will cover the tool as if it was bought directly from us.
Q. Can I place an order over the phone?
A. We currently are not taking phone orders. If you are having a problem ordering from our website, please contact us and will can help walk you through it.

Q. Who makes the Sight Tools and where are they made?
A. Our tools are made by us, Fisher Solutions in San Diego California.
Q. I am also in San Diego, do you have a retail store? Can I pick up a tool locally?
A. We currently do not have a retail store are do not have a pick up location. All orders are shipped out.
